A pedestrian was hit a Metra train Saturday in northwest suburban Round Lake.
The Milwaukee District North line train struck the pedestrian just before noon at Fairfield Road in Round Lake, Metra spokesman Michael Gillis said.
The No. 2610 train was set to arrive at Union Station at 1:10 p.m. after departing from the Fox Lake station at 11:45 a.m., Gillis said.
The train, which carried 15 people, was delayed for about 90 minutes, Gillis said. The outbound No. 2603 and inbound No. 2612 trains were also impacted.
Round Lake police could not immediately be reached for comment.
