A Northwest Side man snuck up on a woman and fondled her breasts as she walked to work early Monday morning before fleeing without his pants on, authorities said.
Brandon Lott approached the 49-year-old woman from behind in an alley in the 4400 block of West Irving Park Road and cupped her breasts, Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Jacqueline Kwilos said.
Lott, who turned 20 on Sunday, eventually pushed the woman in the chest causing her to fall over, Kwilos said.
He then allegedly straddled her and continued to touch her breasts.
The victim yelled at Lott and hit him with her lunch bag, Kwilos said.
Lott then ran away without his pants on and the woman fled to a nearby business to report the attack, Kwilos said.
Officers who arrived on the scene ran after the pantless Lott who was “jumping fences, yard to yard,” according to a police report.
He was later found hiding in a bush, Kwilos said.
The victim identified Lott as her assailant, Kwilos said.
Lott, who appeared in court with a paper gown above his shorts and red t-shirt, was ordered held in lieu of $150,000 bail for criminal sexual abuse.
Lott, of the 4000 block of North Kilbourn, works three jobs as a graphic artist, cashier at Chipotle and as a waiter at Best Waiters of Chicago, Inc. according to Assistant Public Defender Marijane Placek.
He is scheduled to start school at the Art Institute in the fall, Placek said.
