A teenager suspected of inappropriately touching two girls on Red Line trains last month on the North Side was arrested Friday.
A man approached two juvenile girls riding the Red Line and touched their legs inappropriately about 7 a.m. on April 11, according to police. He then attempted to place his arms around them.
Both girls exited the train and the suspect fled, police said. Flyers were distributed with surveillance images of the suspect.
On Friday, police said a 17-year-old boy was been arrested and charged with three misdemeanor counts of battery in connection with the incident.
The suspect is charged as a juvenile, police said.
