A 20-year-old Matteson woman was charged with purposefully hitting a woman with her car during an argument Thursday in Park Forest.

Bail was set Sunday at $750,000 for Alexius Keyson aggravated battery charges, according to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.

A 19-year-old Park Forest woman and a friend from Richton Park were driving though Park Forest when they noticed Keys following them, police said.

When they reached the victim’s home, Keys pulled into the driveway behind her car, police said. The victim got out of her car and yelled at Keys, police said. Keys allegedly responded by hitting the rear bumper of the parked car. The victim walked to her front lawn and continued to yell at Keys. Keys drove onto the lawn and struck the woman, police said. The victim was taken to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights with unspecified injuries.
