Third alarm called for Woodlawn fire

Firefighters are responding to an extra-alarm blaze in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood early Monday afternoon.
A second alarm was called about 12:15 p.m. and a third alarm at about 12:35 p.m. for a one-story building in the 6800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The fire is in a vacant, 200-by-200-foot commercial building, Fire Media said.
No injuries had been reported as of 12:45 p.m.
