A mentally challenged woman has been missing since Saturday, when she jumped out of a bedroom window after a family argument at her Orland Park home.
Officers responded to the 9200 block of Dunmore Drive at 9:40 p.m. when family members saw Gina Brichetto jump out the window, Orland Park Police said.
Brichetto, 42, who previously suffered a brain injury, shuffles her leg when walking and uses her arms to balance herself, police said.
She has the mental capacity of a 17-year-old, police said.
Brichetto is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, police said.
She was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, gray shirt, dark gray sweatpants and gray shoes, police said.
Brichetto has no cellphone or money and does not have access to a vehicle, police said. She left home on foot.
Brichetto has been entered into the statewide law-enforcement computer as a critically missing person.
