Three people were injured, including a firefighter, during a four-alarm fire Sunday night in northwest suburban Lake Zurich.
Firefighters responded at 7:47 p.m. to the blaze in the two-story, single-family home on West Glendale Road in unincorporated Lake Zurich, a release from the Lake Zurich Fire Department said.
One occupant of the home and one bystander were taken to Good Shepherd Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, the release said. A firefighter was treated for minor injuries and released, the release said.
The fire was extinguished in 70 minutes, and 19 suburban fire departments assisted the Lake Zurich fire department.
An estimate of the damage was not immediately available.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
