Man shot in Wrigleyville neighborhood

A man was seriously wounded when he was shot in the back across the street from Wrigley Field early Sunday on the North Side.
The 25-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of West Addison Street when another man walked up and shot him in the lower back about 3:20 a.m., police said.
The gunman, described only as a man in his mid-20s, ran away after the shooting, police said.
The wounded man was taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Police said the wounded man is listed as a known gang member.
