Plane bound for Midway diverted to O’Hare

A Southwest Airlines flight bound from Charlotte, N.C., to Midway Airport was diverted Saturday afternoon to O’Hare Airport after a potential problem with its landing gear was detected.
Southwest Flight 2187 landed safely at O’Hare around 6 p.m., airline spokesman Chris Mainz said.
