Chicago Police to send six cops to Boston

Chicago Police are sending six officers to Boston to help with the marathon bombing investigation.
Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis requested the assistance and Chicago Police will send one sergeant and five detectives to the area Friday to help in the investigation, according to a statement from police.
“I spoke with Boston police Commissioner Ed Davis earlier this morning and reiterated our offer of assistance and resources as Boston deals with unique challenges to solve a despicable crime,” Supt. Garry McCarthy said in the statement.
