HILLSIDE - An apartment building was evacuated Monday due to flooding in west suburban Hillside.
The residents were evacuated from the one-story apartment building at Oak Ridge and Roosevelt Road about 7 a.m., Hillside police Chief Joe Lukaszek said.
Flooding also caused the residents to be evacuated from the basement of a three-story condo building in the 600 block of Wolf Road, Lukaszek said.
There were no injuries and it was unclear how many people were displaced, Lukaszek said.
