Registration for Chicago Park District summer camp starts online Monday

It’s time to sign up for summer camp at Chicago’s 200-plus parks.
Registration begins online for Chicago Park Department summer camp at 9 a.m. Monday for all parks west of California Avenue Monday. Families can sign up online for camp at the parks east of California beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
In person-registration begins Saturday, April 20, or Monday, April 22, depending on the park. Please check www.chicagoparkdistrict.com/programs/day-camp for details.
Summer day camp runs for six weeks starting July 1. Last summer, some 30,000 six- to 12-year-olds went on field trips, swam in pools and explored nature at some 230 local parks.
Fees for camp vary by income. The park district also offers discounts when families register for two or more programs at a time. For more information, call (312) 742-7529.
