A missing teenage girl and her five-month-old girl were found Thursday in Woodlawn after leaving a shelter with another teen on Monday.
The 17-year-old girl and her baby are wards of the state who were living in a facility in Bartlett, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.
Officers found the two teenagers and the baby Thursday evening at a food store at 63rd Street and South Evans and returned them to the custody of the state Department of Children and Family Services.
