Woman charged with stealing FedEx packages off porches in Riverside

A woman has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing packages from people’s front porches in west suburban Riverside.
Karen Stryjewski, 57, was arrested Friday after police received a call about a theft in progress in the 3700 block of Haas Avenue.
When officers arrived, witnesses told them Stryjewski had taken a package from a front porch and hidden it nearby.
