One man was killed and two others were injured when their car crashed into a garage in southwest suburban Oak Lawn Friday night.
The crash happened about 10:40 p.m. when a 2001 black Audi coupe with three males inside crashed into a house in the 10400 block of South Georgia Lane, according to Oak Lawn police.
The 22-year-old driver was dead on the scene, police said. The medical examiner’s office confirmed the death.
The front seat passenger and rear seat passenger, both males, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police said the Audi was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when it left the road and crashed into the house.
Two people were in the house at the time, but were not injured, police said. The garage suffered “significant damage.”
