Eight people were injured when a car crashed into a CTA bus Monday in Chicago’s Bronzeville community on the South Side.
A vehicle westbound on East 43rd Street struck the doors of the northbound King Drive (No. 3) bus at the intersection at 1:12 p.m., CTA spokeswoman Lambrini Lukidis said.
Eight passengers were injured, Lukidis said.
The victims were taken in serious and good conditions to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, University of Chicago Medical Center and Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Kevin MacGregor said.
