Man killed in car crash on West Side

A 32-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash early Saturday on the West Side.

Delmond Strong was northbound in a Mercury Sable in the 3100 block of South Western Avenue when he lost control, hit a light pole and the car rolled over around 3 a.m., authorities said.

Strong, of the 3600 block of West Polk Street, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died 30 minutes later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
