Man accused of threats aimed at college

A 20-year-old Madison, Wis., man has been charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly posting threatening statements on a Facebook page directed at North Central College in Naperville.

Wisconsin and Naperville authorities took Aden Khan into custody Friday morning in Wisconsin, where he is currently awaiting extradition to Illinois, according to the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office.

On March 5, Naperville police were dispatched to North Central College in Naperville regarding a disturbing post seen on Facebook by the college’s dean of students, the state’s attorney’s office said.

The post contained statements of a threatening nature, according to officials. A Naperville police investigation led police to Khan, who allegedly posted the threatening messages on a Facebook page he had created purportedly associated with North Central College, according to the state’s attorney’s office. The Facebook page Khan allegedly created, however, is in no way associated with North Central College.
