Man falls down stairs, dies at Howard Street CTA station

A man died after falling down the stairs at a Far North Side CTA train station early Tuesday, authorities said.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, fell down the stairs at the Howard station in Rogers Park, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Police said the man suffered from head injuries associated with the fall.
He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston where he died at 3:10 a.m.
The man’s identity was not immediately known.
A representative from the CTA could not be reached for comment.
