Wreck near Midway sends three to hospitals

November 3, 2009

Three adults were hospitalized after a two-car crash outside Midway Airport early Tuesday on the Southwest Side.

At 12:30 a.m. two vehicles collided in the 6300 block of South Cicero Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.

Three adults were hospitalized at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Mount Sinai Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital, according to Gaines who did not know their conditions.

The cause of the collision and further details were not known as of 5 a.m., Gaines said.

Chicago Lawn District police responded to the crash.
