Two suburban men were killed and a 13-year-old boy was injured when a motorcycle crashed into a car Saturday night in west suburban Roselle.
Witnesses told police a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle speeding westbound crashed into the driver’s side of a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu pulling out of a retails complex in the 1100 block of West Lake Street in Roselle about 7:35 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The biker, Brian Wojcik, 19, of Bloomingdale, and motorist, David Phillips, 35, of Roselle, were dead on the scene, police said.
Phillips’ 13-year-old son was riding in the Malibu and taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgensen said autopsies will be performed Monday and toxicology results are pending. Police said the results will determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
The DuPage County Accident Reconstruction Team continued its investigation Sunday.
