GLENVIEW — A mother and daughter found Thursday night in unincorporated Glenview died of different causes, according to the results of autopsies performed Friday.
The bodies were found in advanced states of decomposition in the home where they lived, on the 700 block of Forum Square near Milwaukee Avenue and Central Road, southwest of Glenview.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said Friday that Mary Hoehener, 87, died of a heart attack.
Her daughter, Elizabeth Shultze, 67, died of a head injury in a fall, cardiovascular disease and chronic alcoholism.
Both deaths were ruled accidental.
Sophia Ansari, spokeswoman for Cook County sheriff’s office, said Friday afternoon no signs of forced entry were found.
“We don’t have information right now as to when they died or who died first,” Ansari said.
