Woman’s body pulled from Chicago River

The body of a woman was recovered from the Chicago River on the Southwest Side Friday morning.
Chicago Police Department Marine Unit officers pulled the unidentified woman’s body from the river at 8:16 a.m. in the 2900 block of South Ashland Avenue, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.
Her age was unknown and police did not immediately have any additional details.
