Man fatally shot on Northwest Side

A 22-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in the northwest side Portage Park neighborhood, officials said.
The man was found unresponsive in a hallway with a gunshot wound to his chest around 8:33 p.m. in the 3900 block of North Central, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Resurrection Medical Center.
