A derailment on the CTA’s Purple Line in Evanston slowed service Friday night, and trains were running on a single track at one point, according to the Chicago Transit Authority.
The derailment happened just after 7:30 p.m. between South Boulevard and the Howard station in Chicago.
Full service was restored about 10 p.m., a CTA spokesperson said.
