Purple Line service disrupted by derailment

Service on the CTA Purple Line has been temporarily suspended because of a derailment in a rail yard, according to the CTA.
The derailment occurred between South Boulevard in Evanston and the Howard station in Chicago. Trains are operating only between Linden and South as of 7:45 p.m.
Shuttle buses are transporting commuters between the affected areas.
There is no timetable for restoration.
