Three injured when Chicago-bound flight hits turbulence

Three passengers on a Chicago-bound flight from New Orleans were injured Wednesday when the plane hit some turbulence.
Fire Department personnel examined three passengers from American Eagle Flight 3720 when it landed at O’Hare International Airport, according to Fire Media Affairs. The three complained of head injuries related to turbulence. One of them was taken to a hospital with non-serious injuries and the other two refused further treatment.
According to American’s website, Flight 3720 departed from New Orleans at 7:30 a.m. and arrived at O’Hare International Airport at 9:31 a.m. An American Airlines spokesperson was not immediately available for comment Wednesday morning.
