Metra train srikes vehicle in Arlington Heights

A Metra train struck a vehicle Monday afternoon in Arlington Heights and the delays could last well into rush hour.
Union Pacific / Northwest Line train No. 621 struck a vehicle near East Davis Street and Arthur Avenue around 3:15 p.m., said Metra spokeswoman Meg Reile.
The train was scheduled to arrive in Crystal Lake at 3:55 p.m. but will be stopped until Arlington Heights police clear the scene, Reile said.
It was not known if anybody was injured or if the train was damaged, Reilie said.
