4 women injured after car hits concrete road divider

Four women were injured after a speeding car hit a concrete road divider on the Near Northwest Side, police said.
The women were inside the car that was traveling east on West Madison Street when it hit the concrete divider about 12:50 a.m. near Laflin Street, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
One woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment; three others were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Alfaro said.
Police said they do not know the conditions of the women, though their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
