Man donning construction clothes robs North Side bank

A man wearing a reflective vest and a construction hat robbed a North Side bank branch this week, authorities said.
The holdup took place at the North Community Bank branch at 4701 N. Clark St., according to the FBI Chicago office.
The bank robber was described as a white man, about 6-feet, 3-inches tall, about 230 pounds, between 27 and 30 years old, wearing dark jeans, dark shoes, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with an orange and neon construction vest, and a white scarf covering his face. The robber, who also had on a construction hat, also was carrying a bucket.
No weapon was used in the bank robbery, according to the FBI.
There have been at least 211 bank robberies in the Chicago area in 2012, according to the FBI. There were 115 bank robberies in the metropolitan area in 2011.
