Two arrested after firing at Chicago cops in Little Village

Two people were arrested after shooting at Chicago Police officers in the Little Village neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.
The shots were fired at police after authorities were called to the 2300 block of South Washtenaw at 8:19 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
No officers were shot, and police did not return fire, police said, citing preliminary information.
Details on how the incident unfolded were not yet clear Tuesday night, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. Area Central detectives were investigating.
