Three people, including a firefighter, have been hospitalized following an extra-alarm fire Wednesday morning in an apartment building in the North Side Uptown neighborhood.
The two-alarm on the fourth floor of 736 W. Buena was reported about 9:40 a.m.
Two women — one in good-to-fair condition and the other in fair-to-serious condition — were taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital. A firefighter, who was having touble breathing, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair condition as a precaution, according to Fire Media Affairs.
