A Palos Hills man charged last week with allegedly giving heroin to a young girl, causing her to overdose, was arrested again early Wednesday for doing the same thing, causing the girl to overdose again, police said.
Matthew Lefebvre, 19, and Witold Studencki, 20, also of Palos Hills, are charged with endangering the health and life of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a child, according to Palos Hills police. They said Studencki also was charged with felony possession of heroin and possession of drug equipment.
Police responded about 1:30 a.m. to the 11100 block of Helena Drive, where they found a woman performing CPR on a teen girl who had overdosed on heroin last week, police said. The girl was taken to Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
Officers saw Lefebvre at the home and recognized him as the person who had given the girl heroin last week, police said.
They said officers found syringes and heroin on Studencki, and the men admitted giving the girl heroin.
Studencki told police he drove to Chicago to buy the heroin and brought it to the home.
Leebvre was ordered held on $280,000 bail for his new arrest, violating the conditions of his bond from last week’s arrest and violating parole in an unrelated case, police said. Studencki is to appear in court Thursday.
