Firefighters battle blaze on 15th floor of high-rise

Firefighters are battling a two-alarm blaze on the 15th floor of a high-rise building in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
The fire started about 3:40 p.m. in the 2600 block of North Lakeview Avenue, said Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor.
Firefighters found a blaze on the 15th floor and were checking stairwells and apartments for residents still inside, MacGregor said.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire department initiated a two-alarm response about 3:50 p.m. Firefighters continued to battle the blaze as of about 4 p.m.
