Boy, 17, fatally shot, another teen wounded

A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head and another was wounded Monday night in a gang-related shooting in the South Shore neighborhood, police said.
They were standing on the sidewalk at 8:15 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Dorchester when two shooters walked up and opened fire, police said.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the head and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said. The other boy, also 17, was shot in the lower left leg, official said. He is listed in good condition at Jackson Park Hospital.
Police said they believe the shooting was gang-related.
