A 77-year-old Schaumburg man has been charged with one felony count of indecent solicitation of a child after he allegedly propositioned a 9-year-old girl in a park Sunday.
Paul R. Duke, of the 2200 block of Pennview Lane, allegedly approached the girl in the Schaumburg park at Knollwood Drive and Pennview Lane and offered her money to allow him to commit a sex act with her, police said.
The girl ran and told an adult family friend who accompanied her to the park, according to a release from Schaumburg police. The girl was not physically touched or harmed.
