A convicted felon who allegedly kidnapped an acquaintance from his Streamwood home at gunpoint Friday morning was ordered held on bail of $325,000 Sunday.
Keewon Taylor, 20, brandished a shotgun when he forced a 30-year-old man from his home, stealing an iPod, jewelry and $300 cash, prosecutors allege.
He told the victim to drive him to an undisclosed location, but when the victim jumped from his moving Saab sedan, Taylor took the wheel and crashed, prosecutors say.
He gave himself up Friday night, according to police.
Taylor was on parole for a 2010 burglary conviction at the time of his arrest. He’s charged with armed robbery, home invasion and aggravated vehicular hijacking.
