Man arrested in Sauk Village shooting death

A man wanted for the shooting death Tuesday of a 20-year-old in south suburban Sauk Village was taken into custody Thursday in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Charles Bragg II was charged with the first-degree murder for the death of Zonnie Johnson, 20, of the 22400 block of Clyde Avenue in Sauk Village, according to a release from the Cook County Sheriff’s office.
Bragg, 19, is accused of fatally shooting Johnson at 8 p.m. Tuesday near 216th Street and Jeffrey Avenue, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bragg was found hiding in a home Thursday in the 7700 block of South May Street, the sheriff’s office said. He was arrested without incident.
