Traffic was tied up in the River North area Thursday morning as fire department crews responded to a leak caused when a construction crew hit a gas line.
The incident happened about 9 a.m. at Dearborn and Illinois, according to Fire Media Affairs. A Level I Hazardous Materials response was called, and traffic was rerouted as a result.
No additional details or reports of any injuries were available as of about 9:15 a.m.
