A panel of judges from the media and government joined local artists to narrow the designs to these 10 finalists.
Today, the Chicago Sun-Times offers this exclusive look at the 10 winning designs.
"Green Scene Chicago" is this year's theme. "It seems like the students are pretty passionate about that," said clerk's office spokesman Gregg Cunningham. "You can tell [that] from what they wrote" about their designs, he said.
You may cast a vote in three ways: in person at City Hall, 121 N. La Salle, by phone at (312) 744-2506, or on the Internet at www.chicityclerk.com.
The winning student will receive a $1,000 U.S. savings bond. Second- and third-place contestants will receive $500 and $250 savings bonds. The remaining seven will each receive a $100 bond.
