Pedestrian killed in South Side hit-and-run

A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident early Friday on the South Side. Two people were later apprehended.
The crash occurred at 4:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of South Damen Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
No citations or charges have been issued as of early Friday.
