2 police officers among 3 seriously injured in crash

A police car was involved in an accident on the North Side early Friday that left two officers and another person in serious condition.
A squad car was rear-ended about 1:40 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Addison Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
Two police officers were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Greer said.
All victims were in serious condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The driver was in custody but no charges or citations have been issued early Friday.
