Police: 16-year-old boy gunned down in Gage Park

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot and another teen wounded Thursday in the Gage Park neighborhood, police said.
The 16-year-old was shot in the chest at 2:08 p.m. in the 5800 block of South Fairfield, according to police. He was dead at the scene. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg.
Erwin Narsolis, 39, said the shootings happened in front of his house and he saw the dead boy in the street.
An apparent female relative of the dead boy ran to the scene. “[She] came running up hysterical,” Narsolis said. “She was just screaming.”
