A couple and their 4-year-old child had to be rescued after they fell off a raft in Lake Michigan Wednesday evening.
The two adults and a 4-year-old boy fell off the raft near 51st Street and Lake Shore Drive in the lake about 5:29 p.m., according to police News Affairs. The boy was rescued by a police Marine Unit, and he then told police the adults swam to shore.
