Six people were rescued from Lake Michigan Wednesday afternoon after the 25-foot boat they were on sank off Navy Pier.
Police Marine Unit crews rescued all six from the water after the power boat sank just east of the Navy Pier locks at 5:21 p.m., police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said, citing preliminary information.
Everyone was pulled to safety and no one had to be taken to an area hospital, he said.
