Dog wanders onto Stevenson

A dog was rescued unharmed Tuesday morning after running through traffic on the Stevenson Expressway, then detouring onto Harlem Avenue.
The small white dog was spotted around 6:45 a.m. on the Stevenson, according to the Illinois State Police.
A trooper and some bystanders eventually caught up with the dog after it ran off the expressway at Harlem Avenue near 65th Street.
