A man was killed and three others -- including a 14-year-old boy -- were critically wounded in a shooting Monday night in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Someone approached a group of three men and the boy in the 4100 block of West Adams Street about 8:55 p.m. and opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

A 22-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition and a 29-year-old was listed in stable condition there, according to Gaines.
The 14-year-old boy was shot in the neck, police said. He was listed in good condition at Comer’s Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago.
