The sentencing for key federal cooperator Stuart Levine will not happen on Thursday as expected. The sentencing for the man who was the key witness in the trials of both William Cellini and Tony Rezko is expected to be rescheduled for July.
Levine was a critical witness for the government in the course of the Rod Blagojevich investigation, however, defense lawyers have lambasted Levine’s deal, which calls for five years and seven months. A federal judge must decide to accept or reject that deal.
