A Chicago man survived and suffered only two broken legs after falling about 40 feet Tuesday night from a Dan Ryan Expressway ramp onto a grassy median after losing control of his motorcycle. It happened just after 10 p.m. on the southbound Dan Ryan ramp onto the westbound Stevenson Expressway. The 23-year-old motorcyclist was launched over a wall and onto the median below, said Trooper Mark Hall of the Illinois State Police. The man told investigators he was going 60 to 70 miles an hour when he lost control of his 1999 Honda motorcycle.
