Motorcyclist killed in McCook crash

A motorcyclist was decapitated and killed Monday night in a crash southwest suburban McCook.
A motorcyclist and a vehicle collided about 8:30 p.m. on southbound Illinois 171 just south of Joliet Road, according to McCook Police.
The male motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was dead on the scene, according to Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the medical examiner’s office.
No one else was injured in the crash, according to McCook Police, who declined to provide details on the crash Tuesday morning.
